- Fixed and refined command confirmation flow during checklist execution.
- Improved handling of FO responses and state transitions.
Aircraft & Flight Controls
- Fixed flap continuous movement, replacing unstable dataref handling with command-based control.
- Improved handling of flap step size and position safety checks.
Architecture & Code Refactoring
- Removed legacy code, simplifying architecture.
- Improved machine state, microphone state handling, logging system, and general threading stability.
Stability & Bug Fixes

v0.12.1.0 - Internal Release
Release Date: 2026-04-19
v0.12.0.0 - Public Release
Release Date: 2026-03-05
New Features
- Added update check system that notifies the user when a new version is available.
Checklist & Aircraft Folder Improvements
- Checklist files must now be placed in subfolders inside the main
checklist\ folder that identify the aircraft.
- Example:
checklist\Boeing 737-800X
- For X-Plane 12, the subfolder name must match exactly the aircraft name as it appears in the log.
- For other simulators, the subfolder name can be chosen freely; however, the
AIRCRAFT_NAME option in settings.ini must match the aircraft subfolder name to enable proper checklist identification and management.
Architecture & Internal Changes
- Neural checklist voices are now cached and generated only when needed, reducing unnecessary regeneration and improving performance.
- Application startup and code flow reorganized for stability.
- Cleanup and exit procedures improved.
General Improvements
- First Officer now replies "Okay" when a valid command is received.
- "Stop checklist" command now provides a clear reply if no checklist is running:
"We're not performing a checklist".
- Bug fix: prevent the app from replying "Checklist completed" when the checklist file is empty or not found.
- Minor internal optimizations, bug fixes, and stability refinements.
v0.11.1.0 - Public Release
Release Date: 2026-03-03
New Features
-
Added new voice command: "repeat last checklist line"
- Integrated into the Machine Learning model for improved recognition accuracy
- Available during active checklist sessions to repeat the most recent checklist item
-
Added unit of measure to the following information commands:
- "tell me ground speed"
- "tell me elevation"
-
Introduced WEB_SERVER_PORT option in settings.ini for configurable web server port assignment
Aircraft Support Improvements
- Extended flap command support:
- "tell me flap position" and "set flap to …" now support Boeing 737-800X (Zibo Mod), in addition to LevelUp V2
- Added support for "tell me flap position" on Cessna 172 SP Skyhawk - 180HP
Architecture & Internal Changes
- Updated state machine logic to align with the new audio management flow
General Improvements
- Minor internal optimizations and stability refinements related to the new command and audio flow

- Major codebase refactoring and state machine redesign for improved robustness and maintainability
- Expanded voice command set: aircraft systems are now supported (full list available here)
- Checklist execution logic improvements:
- Checklists must now be invoked using the keyword "Read" instead of "Call" (e.g. "Read power and safety checklist")
- Commands such as "check" and "set" are ignored when no checklist session is active
- Simplified checklist syntax and line parsing logic
- Offline audio waveform generation for faster voice playback
- General bug fixes, logging enhancements, and performance optimizations
